REBECCA ANDERSON

Upon completing her bachelor's degree from Tulane University Rebecca began her career with a position as a carpenter and timber framer in NY. Having gained a better understanding of the construction process, she came to Nantucket, where she completed her internship, and took the exams to become a licensed architect.
With nearly six years of experience on Nantucket, Rebecca is currently exploring the many ways that the principles of green architecture can fit with building on the island. In a community sustained by its rich past and natural beauty, she is working to build structures appropriate to both the historic and environmental fabric of the island.
She is active with the island's Unitarian Church, and enjoys cycling in the Moors and hanging out at the beach. |
